Expect More Extreme Weather In 2011 (Video)

We’ve already seen severe flooding in Australia and Brazil, and record precipitation–including winter snows–around the world, while experts conclude that 2010 provided the hottest global temperatures in recorded history.

As Natural News pointed out in a recent article, often these “natural disasters” can be traced back to dangerous human behaviors and pollutions. Without significant changes from both industry and individuals, it’s likely that we’ll endure more of the same in 2011.

In this clip from ABC News, Dr. Richard Somerville explains: “This is no longer something that’s theory or conjecture or something that comes out of computer models. We’re observing the climate changing. It’s real. It’s happening. It’s scientific fact.

Once again some thought-provoking facts. Thank you. Also, some of the comments I read were examples of human intelligence and some were pretty scary. I guess all you need to know about me is one of my favorite movies is Disney's modern animated tale Wall-E. Some people really need to wake up and start making positive changes in their lives. There is always hope but we must come together very soon and work together for positive change.

I hate that there are conspiracy theories out there saying that global warming/climate change is a myth. This is so unhelpful to our beautiful planet as what would be the point in trying to stop it if it is not even true? We are all in trouble, accepted or not, the only difference is, some of us give a damn and some of us (wrongly informed), don't. It is just denial, and some people believe every conspiracy they read, harming the planet even more due to their inaction and inability to make their own decisions based on the facts

Thank-you. This is a thought provoking post.
Can we please keep out comments clean without name calling. We divert. Intellectual challenges are great without being sophomoric.

Mr.Pugsley is misinformed & among the unenlightened people out
there that still say that global warming is a liberal ruse...let's all
begin to use "Climate Change" rather than "Global Warming" to
help dispel the arguments such as those that would say that because we're having record-breaking severe winter temperatures, snow, etc is "proof" that there is no such thing
as global warming...until we face the fact that since the beginning of the Industrial Age (beginning around 1900) the
human race has increased the population at an alarming rate,
resulting in the overuse of natural resources, the devastation of millions of acres of forests, jungles, land that was once thriving...all in the name of progress, in efforts to make our lives easier which translates into a massive over-consumption
of goods that end up in our landfills & the production of which
continues to overwhelm Mother Earth w/ the resulting "trash"
choking the air we breathe, the (often permanent) contamination of ground water, the destruction & death of thousands of non-human species & the subsequent skyrocking increases in diseases like cancer & alzheimer's
which we are finding are a direct result in our lifetime exposure to man-made chemicals...so, you nay-sayers, keep abusing
the planet, don't recycle, use more carbon producing energy,
keep buying more "stuff" that we don't NEED...we'll all have you to thank when water is $10 a gallon, disease is draining
the economy & hop
