You can turn butterflies into soap. Not actual butterflies, but Care2’s Butterfly Credits can be turned into soap.
1,250 Butterfly Credits can supply a deserving community with a quarter-pound of multipurpose soap. I know, I know… soap is not a sexy topic… not something to get all excited about. But the fact is that soap helps to stop the spread of disease and to keep children healthy. Lathering up is part of the daily routine for most of us, but in some parts of the world, it is truly a luxury.
Oxfam America is an international relief and development organization that creates lasting solutions to poverty, hunger, and injustice. Together with individuals and local groups in more than 100 countries, Oxfam saves lives, helps people overcome poverty, and fights for social justice. Help Care2 and Oxfam America supply soap to a community by redeeming your Butterfly Credits.

I understand that it might of necessity take that many credits to feed a cat or dog. What I was trying to ask for was a method of perhaps combining interested people's credits so that we could collect enough credits to feed animals now... or a pool that I could earmark my credits for. It's going to take a long time for my credits to mean anything by themselves... but if I could contribute mine as I get them to a pool, we'd get to 4000 a lot quicker.
Interesting article
looooooooooool and I thought "what the hell?" When I saw this article's tittle. I'll collect a lot of credits :)
there isn't enough animal related things to redeem for. can we see feed a shelter dog or vet/ medical attention for an animal or a spay or neuter an stray?
i too would like, less credits to feed a cat or dog.
