pat B says "Wisconsin was not broke. Walker walked in in with a surplus but as a payback to global corporations he gave them HUGE TAX BREAKS which put the budget in the red. And decided to put the debt on the workers. You see, he is a foot soldierwho gets his orders from the corporations."

Sounds like he took a page out of the GW Bush school of stupidity.

you want to fix whats broken you start at the top not the bottom and guess whose at the top. we overpay Congress and senate and there lucrative lifelong paychecks need to go byee byee. why should they get nothing but the best for life while we the people suffer right. They make 175,000 a year as a freshman in congress what did they do to deserve such high pay? I say not a damn thing. This isn't just about republicans either the democrats had a few years to change things and they refused to now look what it got us everyone voted in republicans who claimed they changed but have they really? So far what I am seeing is stupidity and polititians who are committing public service suicide as I dont see these morons getting re elected do you? But also if that govenor is serious about taking those rights away he also needs to take a hit himself and a huge paycut to make it at least seem like hes not just screwing middle class over. But I am willing to bet he doesn't touch his own paycheck they never ever do when they claim we all need to tighten our belts the translation is usualy you all need to while i give myself a raise thanks stupid people who voted for me.

I am proud of the Wisconsin workers .
They are a new beginning to a movement for the people of the uSA.
psst...while most people were sleepwalking their lives in front of the tv, texting and on the cell which corporations want us to do because we get dumbed down that way...they stole our country and our futures.

Don B wrote: How long do you expect that your benevolent slave masters will continue to grant you the great privilege of existing at their expense?

So, what are you saying? Do you think the unions are forcing companies to "grant you the great privilege of existing at their expense??" You do realize companies NEED workers to make and sell their products, don't you?? Paying a fair wage and benefits attract the workers that companies need.

Don wrote: My guess is that your profligate existence will last only as long as they can profitably use you and then throw you away like so much trash or they move your job to Asia or Mexico.

I told you Don, I live in a Right to Work state - there are no slave masters here. And do you seriously think union jobs can't move to a different state or country? Also, companies normally strive to be in business for the long term, so they need workers for the long term.

I find it quite funny you think I am a slave and have a slave master, when it is YOU (union workers) who have to PAY union dues to the unions to be ALLOWED to work!!

Your fear mongering shows you have swallowed the union bs hook, line and sinker!!

Just in case you missed it, slavery did NOT end with the civil war.
