They are such a great couple to have in the White House. The Obamas seem fun and friendly. GW always looked stiff and uncomfortable or smug IMHO.

That may be our tax payer's dollars at work -- or it could have been paid for by the Obama family or from private contributions. If it is paid for by tax payers, I'm good with it. It's a creative, whimsical event and the effort delighted a lot of little children. I think it's good use of a relatively small amount of tax dollars. I'd rather see my tax dollars used to provide healthy treats on Halloween than buying bombs.

It's nice to escape the "boo"-ha-ha of politics and see the generosity of the 1%'ers (even if I voted for him)! It's nice to be able to light up the kids day with a "sweet" now and then - I like the way they do things - hope he gets another term to celebrate 5 more halloweens - and scare the republicans into generosity (doubt if either ever happens though!) :) --boo!
