Joaquin Phoenix Reveals Horrors of Exotic Skin Trade (VIDEO)

Joaquin Phoenix Reveals Horrors of Exotic Skin Trade (VIDEO)

In this straightforward video, award-winning vegan actor Joaquin Phoenix takes on the exotic skin trade to expose the cruelty behind the grotesque purses, shoes and handbags so many innocent reptiles are killed for every year. This video is graphic. Watch with caution as he describes the systematic torture of snakes, lizards and alligators, often being bludgeoned to death or skinned alive and left to bleed in excruciating pain, all for the sake of unnecessary fashion. So please, as you’re doing holiday shopping for your loved ones this holiday season, keep these poor creatures in your hearts — buy quality faux skins.

Joaquin you are awesome, as usual. But I only got halfway through. I've seen to much of these. I'm going to go snuggle my cats now.

Thank you Joaquin for this video. Although I couldn't watch all of it I am glad people are standing up to the fur industries and saying NO. The fur looks so much better on the animal then it does on a human.
