A video that has gone viral is allowing animal lovers to share in a rare and joyful reunion between a zoologist and the four wolves that have bonded with her at the world’s northernmost zoo.
A wolf handler known only as Anita worked with a wolf pack at the Polar Zoo in northern Norway for the two years. The wolf area is the largest attraction at the zoo, with 114-acres for the animals to roam.
Anita left the zoo for two months, but when she returned she was greeted with heartfelt yelps and kisses by the pack that obviously missed her.
The scenes are a remarkable glimpse into the world of wolves and how they interact with each other and humans they accept as one of their own.
