Megan Mullally & Nick Offerman Support Marriage Equality

Actress Megan Mullally and husband Nick Offerman have together recorded a video for the HRC’s Americans for Marriage Equality series.

In the video the couple says “Any random man and woman can casually show up at a 24-hour wedding chapel in Vegas, exchange ‘I Dos’, and boom they’re married. So why can’t gay and lesbian couples … have the same opportunity?”

The world is changing, and the young are leading the charge. As soon as we vote out the "old thinkers", we will see a much more humane world. Including all races, religions, sexual orientations, and the wide variety of people, can only help us all, in the long run.

darryll,
you do realise don't you, that nobody is expecting or forcing YOU to marry a gay man?

Great message. I can't wait for the day when this is a non issue and ANY consenting Adult can marry whom ever they choose to marry. If you don't like gay marriage I urge you to marry someone who isn't gay.

Darryl G...Civil Unions do not afford all the rights as marriage. Plus I'm sure Civil Unions are not recognized Federally.

Darryll G...exactly are they "forcing" anyone to accept their lifestyle? How would their marriage affect you directly? Would it make your marriage any less than what it is right now? And as far as calling it a sin...I suppose you're totally sin free, huh? To me, you judging other based on your bigoted beliefs is a bigger sin than two loving and consenting adults getting married. Unless you can actually walk on water or heal someone by touch, or make a blind person see, then STFU because you're in no position to judge anyone!

Darryll G. because they are not allowed a civil service due to bigots like you. I know your church wants bedroom police because sex is only for procreation not enjoyment and women are slaves to their husbands. I really wish people like you would stop forcing their religious views on other people who may not believe as they do. Everyone should be allowed a civil service and have their relationship viewed as equal under the law not just religious groups, because this relates to who can be with you with you need someone the most. Right now a hospital can deny your life partner the privilege of staying by your bed side because they are the same sex. This is not something a civilized society should have happening to people. You have a right to your views just as I have a right to mine but when you force your views on me that crosses the line and right now that is what a lot of religious people are doing.
