Should President Barack Obama lose reelection this year, it’s not going to be the end of his career. For many former presidents, speaking engagements keep them employed and in the public eye. Obama, on the other hand, can throw singing engagements into the mix.
A few weeks ago, Obama made headlines with a one line rendition of singer Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together.” Now, he’s gone a few lines further, singing a verse of “Sweet Home Chicago” with B.B. King.
Does Obama have an inherent musical gift? Some claim his voice itself has a musical quality, or, at least it does when you clip it and remaster, as this Lady Gaga mashup that Care2′s Paul Canning found showed.
So, if you could get a presidential serenade, what song would you most like to hear? Should he branch out with a little Tom Jones or even bring in some disco? Or does he need to try something even further from the beaten path, like a little country or hair metal ballad?
Would you want “Hail to the Chief” for another four years? Or just “Hey Hey Hey, Good-bye?”

Sounds like the far right to me.
Whilst I don't fully support all that Hugo Chavez has done politically; he has done a lot for his country.…
What a stupid question. Yes, as we age we will still love our pets, just as we will still love our children!…

He will have my vote, and my husbands!!
How about:
"Well I'm the Sheik of Araby
Well I'm the Sheik of Araby, yeah"
as his ringtone at least!

I just want more singing, maybe an album or two! What a great campaign fund-raiser that would be!!! He would be an instant best-seller, that's for sure.
Love It
@ Carol M:
He governs the country a lot better than any Republican ever has or could, and that is saying quite a bit.
@?: Whoever suggested "We've all gone to look for America," that is a great idea; America got lost soon after the selection of Dubya and trying to find it a again has proven quite difficult.
ira L we are not bashing obama becos hes a dem we are bashing him becos hes doing a bad job at leading the U.S.A in the right path
and im a dem and ill voting rep in 2012 unless ron paul runs 3rd party
Hey Obama bashers......if Obama was a republican you'd be "singing his praises" through the roof!!! So, we take your criticism with a grain of salt as professional political jealously. You say, "Obama's an appeaser to Islamist terrorists" Why not ask Bin Ladin! or Khadaffe! Or too many others to mention! And how about those photos of George W. Bush holding hands, in full view of cameras, with the Saudi leaders and kissing the Saudi leader on the cheek?? Pretty disgusting when truth emerges, huh, Vlasta? Better hurry and tune into Fox to get a quick fix on some more lies and distortions. These are getting old and stale.
good to see that there are some people who are not fooled by obama singing in all fairness obama can sing ...........
and i really wish obama would stick to singing and let someone else run this place

How about Obama singing Harry Nilsson's " You're breaking my heart" to the Republicans?
