+ add your ownKudos to the Pentagon for finally doing so!
More lipservice to the Transgendered members, but no protections for us. Why do they bother to say GLBT when they now only let GLB members serve? I was fired in 2000 after being questioned regarding rumors that I "wanted to be a woman", and people like me are still officially denied the right to serve today.

Great, about time!
Moving in the right direction...thank God.
At least there's hope in Washington.
Terrific! Wish it had happened 50 years ago but better late than never.
