All your posts show ignorance, bigotry and a "load" of "facts" that could have only come from a limited number of sources: the Bush administration itself, the talking chicken-heads that are Republican pundits or from FOX which has admitted recieving daily briefs right from the Bush White House. Tony Blair Government had already colluded with the Bush Administrationin 2002 to invade Iraq and therefore would have given Bush cover for that false statement. The Iraq war stated in earnest in late summer/fall of 2002 with a sustained bombing operations by US and British forces. Yeah yeah when they media reports anything that does not concur withyour lies then they have to be biased...LMOA. Bush had to consider all intelligencce but why did they discount all the intelligence's finding and go to other sources to get the intelligence they wanted. You seem to be an ignoramous who is so full of himself that your hair must be brown. Obama never apologized for the USA on anything. You have clearly forgotten the August 6th daily briefing which had the title Bin Laden Determined to Attack in the US which Bush ignored probably because they already knew it was coming and wanted it to happen. And that Saddam had been our proxy fighter in the Iraq-Iran war and that Iraq had always claimed Kuwait as part of Iraq. The US had known of it's intention and had given a wink and a nod of approval. Get a clue...but alas your ilk never does.

Valerie Wilson was no analyst or paper-pusher. She was an operations officer working on a top priority of the Bush Administration. Armitage, Rove and Libby had revealed information about a CIA officer who had searched for proof of the President's WMDs. They harmed her career and put at risk operations she had worked on and foreign agents and sources she had handled.
Plame was recruited into the CIA in 1985. After 2 years of training to be a covert case officer, she served on the Greece desk. Next she was posted to Athens and posed as a State Department employee. Her job was to spot and recruit agents for the agency. In the early 1990s, she became a nonofficial cover officer. NOCs are the most clandestine of the CIA's frontline officers. They do not pretend to work for the US government; they do not have the protection of diplomatic immunity. They might claim to be a businessperson. She told people she was with an energy firm. Her main mission remained the same: to gather agents for the CIA.
In 1997 she returned to CIA headquarters and joined the CounterProliferation Division. She was eventually given a choice: North Korea or Iraq and in the spring of 2001, she was in the CPD's modest Iraq branch. But that summer--before 9/11--word came down from the brass: We're ramping up on Iraq. Her unit was expanded and renamed the Joint Task Force on Iraq. Within months of 9/11, the JTFI grew to fifty or so employees. Valerie Wilson was placed in charge of its operations group.

You really believe weapons systems were found and not reported when the Bush administration was so desperate to be vindicated in their claim that they tried to say 30 years old nerve gas artillery shells were the smoking gun until weapons specialists informed them that the gas in those shells had long been inert. I would also believe the WMD inspectors themselves before I believe any real or imagined "friends" of yours who knew about WMD systems found but not reported, was that not one of their main directives when we went into Iraq... to be vigilant in searching for WMDs and to report and WMDs found to their commanding officers. If you had friends who knew about weapons systems that were found but not reported and did not report those systems themselves then they were derelict in their duties and you aided and abetted them by not reporting what they had "told you".
In September 2002, Time magazine asked Ritter whose Iraq policy was worse, Bill Clinton's or George W. Bush's. Ritter's response: "Bush, because of its ramifications. It threatens a war that probably lacks any basis in law or substantive fact. It has a real chance of putting thousands of American lives at risk and seeks to dictate American will on the world." Scott Brown is a former U.S. Marine Corps major and former United Nations weapons inspector in Iraq. He's the answer to the question of whether the Bushies knew before the war that Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction (WMD).

A declassified report by the Pentagon's acting Inspector General Thomas F. Gimble provides new insight into the circumstances behind former Pentagon official Douglas Feith's pre-Iraq war assessment of an Iraq-Al Qaeda connection — an assessment that was contrary to US intelligence agency findings, and helped bolster the Bush administration's case for the Iraq war.
The report was released in full on Thursday by Sen. Carl Levin, chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee. Senator Levin said: "It is important for the public to see why the Pentagon's Inspector General concluded that Secretary Feith's office 'developed, produced and then disseminated alternative intelligence assessments on the Iraq and al-Qaeda relationship,' which included 'conclusions that were inconsistent with the consensus of the Intelligence Community.' "
“The Feith office alternative intelligence assessments concluded that Iraq and al Qaeda were cooperating and had a "mature, symbiotic" relationship, a view that was not supported by the available intelligence, and was contrary to the consensus view of the Intelligence Community. These alternative assessments were used by the Administration to support its public arguments in its case for war. As the DOD IG report confirms, the Intelligence Community never found an operational relationship between Iraq and al-Qaeda; the report specifically states that," the CIA and DIA disavowed any 'mature, symbiotic' relationship between Iraq and al-Qaida

In 1996 the US had little or no evidence that Bin Laden had done anything to Americans or American property which is why he remained unindicted. If they had any credible evidence he would have been indicted as a co-conspirator and would have been tried in absentia. Bin Laden was offered by Sudanese minister of state for defense, Maj. Gen. Elfatih Erwa. Sudan been also implicated in the 1993 bombing of the WTC and was labeled a terrorist regime which the US has always had a policy of never negotiating with. The Clinton did try for 10 weeks to have Saudi Arabia taken Bin Laden back but they wanted no part of him.

David M, I actually read all your overly verbose posts.

You're still a bigot.

You still have no credibility.

What a pathetic attempt at defending Bush's inability to do anything remotely constructive for the American public. You try to obfuscate the facts of my post with your rambling about the 2010 budget and the 111th & 112th Congresses which had nothing to do with my post. Bush's figures were based on the 2001 to 2009 Fiscal Years not on the 2010 Fiscal Year Budget.
Fannie and Freddy were not in the business of originating mortgages, the banks were responsible for checking the credit-worthiness of buyers, getting realistic appraisals of the property and writing mortgages. The only thing Fannie and Freddie did was to take the banks word in good faith and were also required by law to buy a percentage of the market’s mortgages to free up mortgage funds. Banks found they could make more money with sub-prime consumers by selling them mortgages they knew would fail knowing they repossess and resell the properties to other sub-prime consumers. They then bundled these toxic mortgages into packages with good mortgages known as derivatives and sold them on the bond markets to buyer who thought they were good because most were federally insured. Get off the Freddie and Fannie talking points because they were proven to be false long time ago. Go back to your handlers and tell them they need to increase your meds and give you BS that is not so translucent so that when you throw it against the wall to see if it will stick, people will not be able to see right through it!

Elizabeth K - of course Obama lied when he said no illegal immigrants would be getting free health care. The Department of Health and Human Services announced that nearly $9M of taxpayer money will be used to help fund New Access Point programs targeting services to migrant farm workers, REGARDLESS of their immigration status. Health Resources and Services Administration spokeswoman Judy Andrews announced that the grant recipients WILL NOT check immigration status on people seeking services. Obama claimed in a Sep 2009 speech that "The reforms I'm proposing would not apply to those who are here illegally." Hmmm, according to Judy Andrews the Dept of Health and Human Services won't even be checking the immigration status of migrant workers. So it seems to me that Obama lied and Joe Wilson was correct in calling him a liar.

Steven B - Your hilarious claim that the Bush Administration outed CIA agent Valerie Plame shows ignorance. Plame a low level CIA agent was outed by her husband not the Bush Administration, of course you didn't hear about this in the major media because the major media is liberal and biased. In terms of yellow cake uranium FactCheck.org tells us that Bush acted in good faith when he stated in his 2003 State of the Union address that "The British Government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa." You want to dismiss the fact that Bush had to consider all the intelligence provided to him by our intelligence agencies and the intelligence agencies of several other countries. Steven B you seem to be ignorant of how dangerous the world is out there, as ignorant as Obama was when he went around the planet apologizing for the big bad U.S.A. You clearly have forgotten that we were attacked on Sep 11, 2001 by muslim terrorists who hate us. And that Saddam had attacked and over ran puny Kuwait in an attempt to rule that part of the world. How Ignorant!

11:30PM PDT on Aug 17, 2011

Steven B - Before you accuse Bush of some baseless claim that he purposely let Bin Laden loose let's point out that Bin Laden was offered to President Clinton in 1996. Clinton claimed that Bin Laden hadn't committed crimes against the U.S. apparently forgetting that he was an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 WTC bombing by prosecutors in New York. In terms of going after Sadam Hussien and toppling him. Clearly you only read the liberal rags that spout NO WMDs, you probably don't even know what a WMD is. For educational purposes a WMD is more than nuclear weapons, WMDs are NBCs or Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical weapons. An insecticide plant can be easily converted into chemical weapons plant. As a retired military man I have friends telling me about all the weapons systems that were found but not reported. As far as Al Qaeda not being Iraq, your simply a fool if you don't think Al Qaeda was and is in Iraq. Do a research on the internet and you'll see whether or not Al Qaeda was in Iraq and is still in Iraq.
