Rescued Poodle “Dances” for Joy (VIDEO)

The Humane Society of the United States was recently called in by the White County Sheriff’s Department to rescue more than 200 dogs from Gayla’s Poodle Palace in Sparta, Tennessee.

While all of these incredible survivors are getting ready to begin new, happier lives, one little poodle girl is literally dancing for joy …

Poor little guy, he is very stressed!

It made me cry but I am soooo pleased that all these lovely dogs have been rescued. I wish I lived near enough to adopt one - or all if I could - of them.

This poor animal is not dancing! Do you people not have the intellect to know that this dog is severely stressed? I am sorely surprised that such a video would be placed here. Get your act together or at least learn a little about animal psychology. This really sucks.

this poor little poodle is obviously very stressed and whoever decided it was an object of humour needs to go and have their humour checked out. Not an animal lover. Ridiculous!

To state that this little dog is 'dancing' really saddens me,,,then to accompany the video with that ridiculous song,,,*sigh* Yes it is wonderful these precious dogs were rescued but don't glamorize it saying a stressed out and confused little dog is 'dancing' ,,, she is obviously trying to get some of the attention she has sadly been denied of.

I agree with Annika - it seemed like a stressed animal, not an animal "dancing for joy". No doubt the Humane Society does great work, but I don't think the video does them any favors. It actually makes them seem disconnected from ther reality of what's going on for some animals.

We have all the pets we need right now;but I'm thankful for the Humane Society & all the good work they do.

Very cute, but.. I hope someone nice taught him that, so not in a circus or something.
About rescue dogs-- I can't have any pets right now because my dad disagrees to keep it, but when I'll have my own house, I will get some rescue dog or cat for sure.

To me this dog's behaviour looks the same as what gaged animals do in the zoo: I've seen many animals pacing back and forth the same route hours on end or an Elephant rocking from left to right... When stressed out, some dogs bark and some lick themselves incessantly as well as pacing their pen; standing on hind legs an "dance" is not really that different. My dog stands on his hind legs and paws (digs/scratches) the door when he hears me coming home or when he wants to go outside: if it was a cage wall it would look exactly like what this dog does...
