The Owl And The Pussycat – VIDEO

The Owl And The Pussycat – VIDEO

This is The Owl and the Pussycat, but with real animals.

An absolutely delightful video of Fum, a lovely black cat and Gebra, a kind barn owl. Gebra flies far away, but every time it comes back to land near Fum, its friend. Perhaps some politicians could use the video to model a peace process on this routine?

The song is Catalonian: “Deixa’m dir una cosa” by Sopa de Cabra.

Watch and enjoy!

WE SHOULD ALL TAKE SOMETHING AWAY FROM THIS AND APPLY IT TO OUR OWN LIFE. I JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF STUFF LIKE THIS!

What a lovely friendship.

As cute as it is, it worries me. A single bite/scratch from a cat can be deadly to a bird. It is a little worrysom seeing how close the cat came to pulling the bird out of the air.

Nice. Is that why I picked up the Owl and the Pussycat book off of my shelf in the foyer? Wow man, like, wow, synchronicity.

I am going to go against all the comments here. While I appreciate that it shows animals are far kinder than we humans can be.
I find it sad (unless this bird has been rescued and could not be released back into the wild) and I do get bothered that we keep domesticating wild animals. Is this really any different than keeping a tiger in a cage for our amusement? The owl like other birds of prey has been taught to respond to a human. I am just saying.....something to consider, aside from a cute video.

Wish many a human could 'inherit' some of the wonderful attributes displayed by our animal kingdom!
