Kristin Bauer, who plays Pam Ravenscroft on HBO’s hit drama True Blood, has a message for LGBT teens and all those who may be contemplating suicide because of bullying: It gets better.
In the following HBO PSA, Bauer relates how, during a particularly hard time in her life due to several recent, awful events, she was brought to her lowest point when she found herself stranded in New York city in the middle of a blizzard and was unable to get home. Yet somehow, amid that pain and fear, she found beauty in the gift of a snowy winter morning and was consoled with the promise that things can change in an instant.

I'm glad that stars are continuing to do these videos. Keeping the message current is very important to helping the LGBT teens who are being bullied and feeling isolated right now.
