Warm up the DVR and set your clocks for Puppy Bowl VIII, scheduled on Animal Planet Sunday, February 5 at 3:00 pm.
If you are a connoisseur of all things dog, you won’t want to miss this charming event. Each year, Animal Planet aims to out-do themselves. This year will include 67 puppies, 20 kittens, 5 pigs, one bird and a bunch of hamsters.
Only the pups will be playing in the game but cheerleading at half time will be performed by the kitties and the Piggy Pep Squad. Meep the bird will be tweeting updates throughout the game and the hamsters…they’ll be flying the blimp!
All participating pups are from rescues and shelters and actual interviews with some of the puppy-players can be enjoyed if you remember to tune in Sunday. Enjoy, folks!

I also forgot to mention the producers of the show are so talented. I know it took a lot of thought and editing to make the show so entertaining!!!
