Our country is in trouble and it was the republicans who caused it with their excessive spending on a credit card while in power, not asking americans to sacrifice during a time of war, 30 years of favoring the rich, constant republican obstructionism, and a lack of respect for all americans.

I am so disillusioned by the USA's lack of political choice. Until politicians get serious and start addressing dire issues such as global warming, loss of biodiversity, the poisoning of our food supply, and our broken education system (to name just a few), we don't have much hope. The current group of corrupt players proves that it's all about who can make the most money. Any respect that I once had for my government has long gone.
Obama = Bush same difference
If Obama is our only hope then we are totally screwed.
