Perhaps one of the most interesting revelations in the new Politico eBook “Inside the Circus” is the story of former presidential candidate and Texas Governor Rick Perry singing “I’ve been working on the railroad” while taking care of business at the urinal.
Which of course leads us all to wonder “what would the other presidential wannabes sing while doing their thing?”
Due to the zeal with which Rick Santorum is interested in the sex lives of Americans — who can have sex, who shouldn’t have sex, what beasts have sex, who is and isn’t making babies and the like, you have to think that the actual act of wiping it out, especially in public, probably isn’t one of his favorite things to do. As a reminder to those around him (and likely himself) a little “Can’t Touch This” is probably hummed in the john.
One Washington Post writer suggested Newt Gingrich might have a little bit of the Gypsy in him — at least, back around Super Tuesday when he still had a somewhat viable campaign. So for the former Speaker, a little “Everything’s Coming Up Roses” might have sneaked out while taking a bathroom break. He was once positioned to “have the whole world on a plate” at one point during this race, after all.
Ron Paul may not look like much of a rocker, but you can bet he likes a little Dead Milkmen. Especially when they’re singing “Conspiracy Song.” Besides, the bathroom is a great place to hide when they are coming to get you…
And Mitt Romney likely has a little ditty of his own. Perhaps, “Who Let The Dogs Out?”
