- We will end the EPA’s war on coal…. Further [sic], we oppose any and all cap and trade legislation . [p.16]
- We call for timely processing of new reactor applications currently pending at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. [p.16]
- We will respect the States’ proven ability to regulate the use of hydraulic fracturing, continue development of oil and gas resources in places like the Bakken formation and Marcellus Shale, and review the environmental laws that often thwart new energy exploration and production. We salute the Republican Members of the House of Representatives for passing the Domestic Energy and Jobs Act …. [p.17]
- As soon as possible, we will reverse the current Administration’s blocking of the Keystone XL Pipeline…. [p.47]
Environment
- We support opening the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) for energy exploration and development and ending the current Administration’s moratorium on permitting; opening the coastal plain of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) for exploration and production of oil and natural gas; and allowing for more oil and natural gas exploration on federally owned and controlled land. [p.16]
- We stand with growers and producers in defense of their water rights against attempts by the EPA and the Army Corps of Engineers to expand jurisdiction over water…. [p.17]
- [P]ublic access to public lands for recreational activities such as hunting, fishing, and recreational shooting should be permitted on all appropriate federal lands. [p.18]
- All efforts should be made to make federal lands managed by the U.S. Forest Service available for harvesting. [p.18]
- We also call on Congress to take quick action to prohibit the EPA from moving forward with new greenhouse gas regulations….[p.19]
- The Lacey Act of 1900, designed to protect endangered wildlife in interstate commerce, is now applied worldwide, making it a crime to use, in our domestic industries, any product illegally obtained in the country of origin…. This unreasonable extension of the Act not only hurts American businesses and American jobs, but also subordinates our own rule of law to the legal codes of 195 other governments. It must be changed. [p.14]

The question is not if they Care it has become are the for the environment or against iit
You can say you have concern about sickle cell anemia and ask for donations and unless the doner reads the fin print the discover they have donated to creat a super sickle

They don't seem to be in touch with real everyday problems ,, yes they make great speaches to get "Brownie points" ,,you'll still pay your Taxes, go to work ( if your luckey to have a job) all you will have , will be promises "haven't the money for, Education , jobs, Health-care .and so on.
But the person liveing at 1666 won't have these problems,,,
There needs to be a dramatic leap in energy technology because these sorry decades old rehashed polluting technology including shoddy clean energy bogusness is beyond salvage. Get a real clean energy program, USA. DO IT, DO IT NOW!

Do they care? In a word, 'No'!
This is another example to show how cruel the Spanish people can be. They are known for their cruel sports beginning from bull fights. They have little respect and love for sentient life. The Catholic Church which is supposed to deeply influence its Spanish followers pays little heed to Spanish cruelty as though Jesus (and Mother Mary) condone such cruelty. It is truly by the grace of God that this puppy has found another life. I hope the perpetrators of this cruelty will pay for their sins and be shot eight times through the head and lose their eyes. Tit for tat! These people, whoever they are, can never be forgiven. God bless Alexandra and the poor doggy they found.
I say again, with Tolkien's "Treebeard," that since nobody is on my side [re:environmental issues] I'm not exactly on anyone's side, either. However, I will take the least offensive choice in November, and I will vote, using my main issue(s) as guide. Too bad we can't simply "Turn all the rascals..." (of whatever party) "...out!" And no, I'm neither young, nor naive. ;-)
