Seems some Wisconsin Republicans don’t want to hear what the majority of their constituents believe: Gov. Scott Walker is wrong to try and take away the right of public employees to collectively bargain for middle-class jobs.
Late Monrday, Wisconsin Rep. James Sensenbrenner Jr. (R) adjourned a town hall meeting he was holding with Republican state Sen. Lean Vukmir after a large crowd, opposed to Walker’s plan, shouted objections to Vukmir’s comments on the budget.
According to Milwaukee-based WTMJ-TV, the crowd then broke into chants of “Shame, shame, shame”–as did state house Democrats when Republicans used a tricky maneuver to pass the anti-worker budget bill.
