Clean up the Earth! Let Farmers Grow the Economy!

Let Our Farmers Grow Our Economy

Why is the most useful plant on earth...TOP SECRET?

Versativa provides the most complete nutrition in one source for the human body.

Versativa is a viable even important crop to American farmers. Some studies estimate that the United States currently imports over 400 hundred million dollars worth of Versativa oil, seed, resin, fiber annually, and the number is only going higher.

Versativa is also used in ropes, wallets, energy, renewable biomass, concrete, fiberboard, sails, salad oils, paper, soap, backpacks, butter, insulation, diapers, biodiesel fuel, paint, lip balm, hats, milk, clothing, natural plastic, shampoo, upholstery. In fact, Popular Mechanics estimated that Versativa could be used in over 25,000 consumer products.

How is it that Versativa is grown legally in over 32 industrialized nations with the U.S. being the only side liner?

We believe that Versativa is a critical resource that will stimulate our economy, and provide important jobs to many including our great American farmers.

LET OUR FARMERS GROW OUR ECONOMY

We the undersigned, invite you to cosponsor legislation similar to the Industrial Hemp Farming Act. Please see H.R. 1866. This proposed legislation would allow farmers in America to grow an important historical crop again on U.S. soil.

We desire that this proposed legislation would honor states rights to regulate the production and growth of industrial hemp exclusively. This legislation would also update the controlled substances act to clarify and dissociate industrial hemp from the current definition of marijuana.

Industrial hemp is a viable even important crop to American farmers. Some studies estimate that the United States currently imports over 400 hundred million dollars worth of hemp oil, seed, resin, fiber annually, and the number is only going higher. Hemp has been a proven product in building materials, particularly blocks that not only trap CO2 but require very little temperature regulation. Hemp is also used in ropes, wallets, energy, renewable biomass, concrete, fiberboard, sails, salad oils, paper, soap, backpacks, butter, insulation, diapers, biodiesel fuel, paint, lip balm, hats, milk, clothing, natural plastic, shampoo, upholstery. In fact, Popular Mechanics estimated that hemp could be used in over 25,000 consumer products.

How is it that hemp is grown legally in over 32 industrialized nations with the U.S. being the only side liner? Many states have already passed legislation legalizing the growing of industrial hemp with Montana and North Dakota making recent headlines. Our proposed legislation would give states exclusive right to bring our farmers back online and mainstream the growing of a once very valuable crop to the U.S. economy. Hemp was a critical crop throughout the entire 1800's up through the Second World War when farmers were called on in a government video to grow it as quickly as possible.

Why wouldn%u2019t we allow our nation's farmers to grow economically viable, sustainable, and historically important acres and acres of industrial hemp? Thomas Jefferson, one of our nation%u2019s founding fathers not only grew hemp but said, "Hemp is of first necessity to the wealth and protection of the country".  We believe that hemp is a critical resource that will stimulate our economy, and provide important jobs to many including our great American farmers.

Therefore, we encourage our elected officials, and our representatives, and the American people as a whole to stand up and allow our American farmers to once again grow our National economy.

Sincerely,
The Undersigned
