Have you won any awards for your artwork? Yep. - More luck - life is full of surprises.

Why the interest in web animations? I've been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil - and I love it - but, there was nothing as thrilling to me as watching my characters come alive - moving and winking and dancing - animation - it gives them life. And it makes people smile.

How old are you? Geeze - let's just say my kids refer to me as a dinosaur, and leave it at that.

Has anyone been a particular inspiration to you in pursuing art? Little ones are my inspiration, they e-mail me, and when they come to visit they laugh and smile - I feel a little like Santa Claus - it's the best.

Do you do this full time, and if not, what else do you do? Every day I'm grateful to be doing something I love so much - I can hardly believe I get paid for it. - I've had some odd jobs in the past trying to get by, but I finally got to where I can do this full time - It's amazing.

What are your goals for your artwork? hope to put a little smile on faces who don't have one - and maybe show kids how fun learning and being creative can be.

Did you ever have any formal training in art? My mother insisted I take typing and learn secretarial skills - I made a deal with her and got a few art classes and drafting (which turned out to be useful) - I think art is something that comes from within, something that you practice and have to figure out how to best express yourself. - You can learn some techniques either from a teacher or on your own - but the art itself comes from inside and the way you see the world.
