Why the interest in Nature Photography? The area in which I live offers a great opportunity to capture a great variety of nature and wildlife images, like the American Bald Eagle, which winters here along the Great River Road from Alton to Grafton, Illinois. The American White Pelicans that migrate through every year, plus other species, too numerous to mention.

There are some of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets you will ever see along the Great River Road, which this past year has been designated as America's Newest National Scenic Byway. There is nothing more challenging and fun than trying to capture wildlife and nature at it's best on film.

How many years have you been pursuing photography? Seriously for about four years.

How old are you? 49 years old.

Are you a full time photographer? Yes. Biomedical photographer and freelance photographer.

What is your goal with your artwork? Hopefully, to bring enjoyment to other people by capturing some of the beauty of this world that God created, especially to those who are unable to see these things first hand. Also, to have fun, record a lifetime of memories on film, and, hopefully, to make money along the way as I do.

What kind of work and accomplishments have you made in the artworld? I have been published in many publications, including magazines, books, newspapers, local and state brochures, visitors guides, postcards and, also, several of my framed work has been placed in state and federal facilities. Also, I donate a lot of wildlife images to nature groups to help them raise money for their environmental work.

What are the two most compelling reasons someone would want to visit your website? If you are a nature or wildlife enthusiast, you probably would be interested in visiting my web page, or if you are planning a trip to this area and wanted to see what the National Scenic Byway and the surrounding towns and area have to offer, my web page highlights some of the many attractions to see and visit.
