What kind of work or accomplishments have done with your artwork? Cartoons for assorted newsletters, books, newspapers, web sites and presentations, most of which has been geared toward personality type, a special interest of mine. Also drew cartoons for a Carolina based computer news periodical, from which the computer cartoons used here were selected.

Have you won any awards for your artwork? Define "awards"... (Do hugs from kids count? They do for me...)

Why the interest in computer-related cartoons? I see very little opportunity for new cartoonists to get syndicated, but I see LOTS of opportunity to get published by special interest groups. The internet provides individuals with an unparalleled access to niche markets and special interest markets for their work. Computer cartoons are a natural spinoff.

How many years have you been pursuing art? Ever since I can remember.

What year were you born? Born in 1953.

Do you do this full time, and if not, what else do you do? No, not full time. I am a machinist... or, as I like to think, a "precision metal sculptor..."

Has anyone been a particular inspiration to you in pursuing art? Encouragement is easier to give than money, so I get a lot of encouragement. Naturally, I've been inspired by other cartoonists, too numerous to name.

What is your goal with your artwork - to make money, or are there some other personal goals? First and foremost, I draw to vent my ideas. If I kept all this inside, I'd explode. Secondly, I make a lot of drawings available for free to non-profit groups if I value their mission (public service). Thirdly, I do enjoy it when my name is recognized. Money comes last.

Did you ever have any formal training in art? Fine Arts program at Penn State University, but I left before I completed the program.

What are the two most compelling reasons someone would want to go visit your site?
1) free cartoons 2) see number 1
