Make all disabled bays outside a resident home allocated to that home only

Disabled bays outside a disabled residents home is not allocated for that resident. This means that if a disabled person goes out anyone holding a blue disabled badge can park. This means that the resident may come home and not be able to park outside or even near their home.

In Westminster and Camden boroughs disabled bays outside a disabled home is allocated to that disabled persons who lives there and none else. It is therefore not fair that in other boroughs any blue badge holder can park in a disabled bay outside a private home.
In Haringey in order to get a disabled bay outside your home further medical evidence is needed above the evidence you need to get a blue badge to prove that a bay outside your home is essential. Yet anyone with a blue badge is able to park in your bay. If the bay is taken by someone else at times due to large amount of parked cars the disabled person ends up coming home and not be able to park anywhere near their home.

I as a disabled person don't go out as most times if I do I come home and can't park because someone else has taken the bay and the is no where near to park. This causes me great distress. For a disabled bay to be put outside a private residents home it means they need it. Please sign this petition and make all boroughs including Haringey follow the same rules as Westminster and Camden. Disabled people have great difficulty living and coping with their disability and this just adds to their distress. Help me and others to be able to at least try and live a bearable life and be able to go out without fear that coming home it will mean not being able to park near my home..thank you
