10 Health Benfits of Ginger

Ayurveda gives ginger the status of a virtual medicine chest. That’s because this wonder spice has time-tested digestion-friendly properties, in addition to its numerous other health benefits.

When a neighbor had a bad cough and sore throat and other cold symptoms, I made him a Thermos full of ginger tea, to which I had added some other holistic healing herbs such as slippery elm (for the throat). He and his wife really enjoyed it and said it helped immensely. Ginger tea is my automatic response to having a cold or the flu.
