10 Weirdest Ways to Remember Your Pet

By Jill Harness, Oddee

1. Hug A Pillow Containing Their Ashes

If you’ve ever wanted to give your long gone furry friends a big fat hug, the soft-hearted pillow will let you cuddle up and take a nap with your deceased pet. The Soft-Hearted pillow contains a small plastic pouch that will seal in their ashes tight so you can cuddle them for eternity. You can even personalize your pillow with embroidery or trimmings to further memorialize your critter.

Most, if not all, of these ideas are very creepy. Especially with "ashes" being mentioned everytime...

The worst one is easily "Load Bullets With Their Ashes: Did little Fido love hunting with you? Then why not take him on one more hunt by loading up your shotgun cartridges with his ashes like Joanna Booth did with her husband’s ashes?" . Well, first of all, I am surprised that so-called "Healthy Living Editors" talk positively about hunting in one of their articles.
Secondly, Joanna Booth and everyone else who claims to love their dogs while they kill other animals, you are nothing but barbaric mad hypocrites. Really, loading the shotgun with your husband's ashes and go killing animals in his memory, something only gun-crazed Americans could do.

i had different reactions to the different ways of remembrance. i saw a woman interviewed that knits animal fur. you send her the fur and she'll mail you a sweater. the cloning bothers me since there are so many homeless animals. and last but not least, is it hygenic to add ashes to tat ink?

Photographs were invented as a way to remember people, places, events and pets. My house is full of photos of my long gone beloved animals. This is enough "remembrance" for me. For everyone else, well, to each their own.

Wow this is bizarre!

I liked most of them except the cloning. Your not getting the same pet- and so many are homeless it just makes no sense to me. Favorite was the diamond from their ashes.
