10,000 Kittens Saved Thanks to Toni’s Animal Rescue Efforts (Video)

Placing a number on volunteer efforts is always hopeful and gratifying. In 2004, Toni started volunteering at her local animal shelter. One day, she was asked to foster a kitten — an experience that changed her life’s path. Ten years and nearly ten thousand kittens later, Toni has made a huge impact on foster kittens and centered her life around this new cause. Watch the video above to get a glimpse of an animal rescuer’s story.

God bless all the animals in the world and those that love and care for them. Until we go after the root of the problem - the humans who breed or allow their pets to breed, the pet over population will continue. Those who are responsible for the problem will always throw the animals away and expect others to clean up their messes. I happened across a young boy who was giving kittens away and said that his aunt's cat had her 13th litter of kittens and he was trying to find them homes. People like this need to be prosecuted for animal abuse.
