Tomorrow, September 21, is the International Day of Peace, and one nice way of celebrating is to listen to some inspiring peace-themed songs. We shared 10 of our picks with you (like “Imagine”, “What a Wonderful World”, and “We Got to Have Peace”), but there are definitely some that we missed. We read through your comments and rounded up some of your favorites. Check them out!

+ add your ownI have sung a couple of these at protests... I have also sung "If I had a hammer..." on more than one occasion.
Thanks
Love most of these songs and am glad they were included---Peter, Paul and Mary are my favorite folk singers (of "peace" or "dragons" or most anything!).
marvelous enhancement for the day
thank you....
I do like the song, "Peace Train", alot, in spite of what anyone might think or feel about Cat Steven's conversion to Islam. It's a great song. And as a big fan of George Harrison, I love his song "Give Me Love". I also agree that "The Great Mandala" should be included, and others by Peter Paul and Mary.
This was a GREAT era for music of this kind!
Gee, why are almost all of them from the 60's and the 70's? What did we know back then that we have forgotten now?
thanks
George Harrison's song is my favorite Peace song.
