12 Telltale Signs You Resist Making Money

If youíve read the parts one, two, and three in the Overcoming Underearning series, inspired by my friend Barbara Stannyís awesome book Overcoming Underearning, you have a sense of what might be getting between you and prosperity. But in case youíre still unclear, I wanted to share some more of Barbaraís brilliant wisdom.

As soon as you enter the discomfort zone, you will automatically trigger resistance from within you. Itís only natural. But if you canít get a handle on it, you wonít be able to move forward. So insight into your resistance is the first step. How will you know if youíre resisting?

12 Signs You’re In Resistance

  1. Youíre too busy.
  2. You procrastinate.
  3. Youíre scared into inaction.
  4. You defer decisions.
  5. You lose interest.
  6. Youíre forgetful.
  7. Youíre disorganized.
  8. You fog up, space out.
  9. You feel paralyzed.
  10. You find reasons not to act.
  11. Youíre impatient.
  12. You keep running into naysayers.

So What Do You Do If You’re In Resistance?

As long as youíre stuck in resistance, youíll keep underearning and you wonít achieve your dreams. You just wonít. I hate to say it so bluntly, but itís true. Believing you will is magical thinking. You canít just ask the universe for what you need and then sit back on your laurels and hope the money comes flowing in.

This is exactly why I developed my new e-course: Get Out Of Your Own Way: Free Yourself From Fear And Worry & Leap Into Your Dreams. Every single one of those signs of resistance describes perfectly how we get in our own way, and until we can overcome the resistance that keeps us stuck, we wonít move forward.

To overcome resistance, Barbara makes these suggestions:

∑††††† All resistance comes from fear.
∑††††† At the core of all fear is a belief.
∑††††† At the root of each belief is a decision you made.
∑††††† These decisions are made early, often unconsciously, and have little to do with reality.
∑††††† To ride out the resistance, redo your decision.

Are you resisting making more money? What belief lies at the heart of your fears? What decision can you change in order to liberate yourself and overcome your resistance?

We will only move forward when we stop letting others like do our thinking for us. We need to think for ourselves and live according to the 7 lores of the universe and then we will find ourselves living in the golden age.

In truth the money is never the issue, it is the thing we use to not move forward in life. It is a universal creation that creates that money is source of our life, not ourselves. When we outsource our reality and say that we cannot do something because of money, it is just as simple as it is a lie, it may be a reality we are creating, that is true, but it is never the truth for our lives. When we understand this not just in our head but in our hearts we can create anything we decide to, it is that simple. So from that perspective Lisa is right on with what she is saying, we just need to move up a domain in responsibility for our reality.

Well, that's inspiring. It's nice to know that our LEADERS don't suffer from any of this. They know that GREED IS GOOD, STEALING FROM THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS WHERE IT'S AT, and THEY WON'T GO TO JAIL!!! YIPPEE!

I think it is an inspiring article especially for younger people looking at future career. I wish I had had help like this when I was young as I continually heard "you can't do that" when I was growing up. It really puts one at an extreme disadvantage later in life. It even hurt my education as I didn't feel I could do it. Not everyone has inspiring people around them so articles like this are great. It isn't creating selfishness it is helping to create achievement.
