The city of Baltimore, Maryland has an alarming incidence of animal abuse, often perpetrated by teens trying to show their “toughness” or “manliness.” In response to this, the city created an anti-animal-abuse campaign called Show Your Soft Side. The campaign features well-known tough guys, like baseball player Adam Jones and musician Henry Rollins, cuddling up close with their beloved pets. It aims to demonstrate, once and for all, that “real men” would never hurt an animal.

Good on ya Fellas, for the true animal advocates you are. Animal Whisperer Rosi Caswell
Love seeing men who are good to their animals just as much as I love seeing men who love children. Always touches my heart when I see a young father with his kids. Guess that is because I never had one and never was one.
It's wonderful to see our four legged friends in the loving arms of loving and loyal people who will be good to our animals. I would have done the same thing Lyn did, but I would have grabbed a bat and break his bones in his knees.
My Dad told me that, when I was 5yo and living in Singapore, we encountered a local man beating a dog with a piece of "2x4" timber. Apparently I walked calmly over to another piece of wood, picked it up and hit the man across the back of the legs - just the once - before asking "how do you like it?" My Dad didn't have time to react and stop me ... and the guy ... he stopped beating the dog !
So cute, and with a great message. Thanks guys.
Love it!
