14 Tasty Super Bowl Snacks

America’s favorite day is right around the corner — the day we collectively celebrate commercials, football, and of course, food we can eat with our hands!

Whatever draws you to celebrate Super Bowl Sunday, here are 14 snacks to accompany the party. These semi-healthy foods are sure to be a hit, whether you’re rooting for the 49ers, Ravens, or puppies in the Puppy Bowl!

1. Filo Veggie Pizza

Pizza and football go hand-in-hand. This filo dough version yields a lighter crust, so your guests won’t fill up before trying the rest of these yummy appetizers!

2. White Bean & Rosemary Dip

This dip has every great quality for an appetizer: it’s delicious, inexpensive, incredibly simple, and did I mention delicious? A perfect go-to party dish.

3. Baked Sweet Potato Fries

Eat your fries, and get your vitamins too! Sweet potatoes are high in beta carotene, vitamins C and B6, as well as potassium, iron, and magnesium. And they’re super yummy!

4. Nori Wraps

Not your standard Super Bowl fare, but nori wraps are tasty, nutritious and perfect for eating with hands! Get creative and use fillings that color-coordinate with your favorite football team!

5. Popcorn with Nutritional Yeast, Lime Juice & Paprika

Make some air-popped popcorn, and add the three ingredients above! An easy, healthy win!

6. Roasted Vegetable Tart

This delicious appetizer manages to fit in a hefty portion of vegetables, all on top of a wonderful, flaky crust. Mmm.

7. Sweet Potato Potstickers

These are easier to make than they sound, thanks to the wonderful convenience of wonton wrappers!

8. Guacamole

There’s a reason guacamole is a mainstay at almost every party… it’s earned it’s place! This recipe is simply the best.

9. Quick & Tasty Brazilian Cheese Bread

These gluten-free snacks are perfect for any guest with a food allergy, or not! They’re easy to make, and easy to eat!

10. DIY Pretzels

Who could turn down soft pretzels? Super Bowl Sunday is a perfect excuse to make this recipe! Don’t miss the dipping options in the article linked above!

11. Sweet Potato Colcannon

This is the one dish in the bunch that may require a plate, but it seemed too good to miss. Hearty sweet potato colcannon  is a perfect food for football season!

Thanks. I don't intend to watch the Super Bowl (even though I am a Maryland girl) but the recipes look great...and I can vouch for several that were posted last March and I tried.
