17 Ways to Use Kale (Slideshow)

Kale Chips

Ingredients:

  • 1 Bunch Tuscan Kale Leaves
  • 1 tbs olive oil

Intstructions:

1. Rinse and let it dry. Cut kale in half lengthwise, removing center ribs and stems.
2. Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
3. In large bowl, toss kale leaves with oil & salt and pepper to taste.
4. On two large baking sheets, arrange a single layer of kale.
5. Bake for 30 minutes, or until crisp. Let cool.

I love kale in my smoothies.

We grew kale last summer. Will be growing a larger patch this summer. We loved the kale chips and a soup. Freezes well and we have enjoyed it in recipes all winter. :)

Going to try the kale chips. Maybe my little sister will like them too, she likes to eat rice and seaweed a lot (then again she's 2 and toddlers are notoriously picky eaters).
