When I worked in mental health we were taught, never hand someone a kleenex.
That's telling them to wipe up.

Crying is healing.

So many people fear their healthy emotions.

if interested, another idea to consider is to ask yourself "truth, how can it get any better than this". It possibly opens you to solutions, rather than conclusions (going into conclusion can possibly bring your mood down.)

A set of techniques called 'Access Consciousness' by Rikka Zimmerman or Dain Heer helps get this questioning/clearing process rather than concluding. Ive tried it it does help (me at least) as one tool in the toolkit
