While there are many great natural remedies for arthritis, homeopathy can be quite effective and is typically overlooked. This healing tradition is based on the ancient medical premise that “like cures like.” In other words, a natural substance that potentially causes a particular illness in the body can be used in a significantly diluted form to prompt the body to combat the illness and related symptoms. It sounds crazy but it is the philosophy now adopted by vaccine manufacturers when they develop flu shots and other chemical-based vaccines. Of course, homeopathy relies on only natural substances and avoids the toxic chemicals and additives found in most vaccines, thereby eliminating side-effects.
The most commonly used homeopathic remedies for arthritis include: rhus tox, bryonia, apis, and belladonna.
Rhus tox is best suited for people who experience symptom improvement from moving but tend to get stiff from rest.
Bryonia is best for people whose symptoms worsen from movement.

Great article thank you.

There is a lot of debate about whether homeopathic remedies work or not. Having gone both the traditional medicine route and homeopathics, I have chosen largely the homeopathic. I take curcumin every day as an anti-inflammatory and it works better than when I was on anti-inflammatories prescribed by my doctor. I can also take acetaminiphen or ibuprophen as needed in addition to the curcumin. I am a fan of Heel products from Germany. There is a cream I rub on the most painful parts as needed. Unfortunately, insurance companies will not pay for these products and they are quite pricey.
NETTLES.
They are not available where I live. Thanks.
Not 4 the weak heart-ed !!!!!I have very bad arthritic joints in back ,shoulder, an neck, I am also a bee keeper You guessed it i get stung on a regular basis, during summer daily in winter about 2X a month after getting stung the arthritic pains go for a week or so In summer i seldom hurt from it... Also i eat a lot of honey. WITH THE COMB . This is 2 times good Allergies and/ arthritic stuff. IT NEEDS to B noted that the honey should come from a bee keeper in your area , MO MORE than 50 miles from where you live.. 4 the best pollens4 your particular allergy. Never purchase honey from a super market It is mostly artificial. This can be researched on the net.
this is really a great idea
THANKS.
I suffer from oteoarthritis and have wated hundreds of dollars on snake oil remedies-I can't afford my morphine sulphate ( I also have 9 ruptured discs as well as firomyalgia) because it is a generic and I can only get help with name brands w/no generic through the pharmacuetic companies and for the last year my pain management Dr. started refusing me oxycotin (?) tho I had been on 100 mg for 7 years (I dont even get 40% equivelent of m.s. therefore have barely been able to get out of bed, much less function on a daily basis (which explains why somedays my typing is barely legible, no matter how hard i try to correct it before sending!) If anyone knows of any of these natural remedies that actually work, pleae let me know (as well as where to buy them at a reasonable price) I cannot imagine going on much longer this way-I have lkost my house of 47 yrs because all my money goes to Dr/gas/opain meds) I cannot even afford to heart, and bipolar/depression meds I should be on. The Soc Sec is taking about a third of my small check for Plan b and I can't even afford the 20% of Doc visits and since pain magmt is monthly that leave out all others (p.s. if anyone knows of a generic doctor in my area (n.e.va. or so.md. toward d.c.-to p.g./mont.co. let me know-that way I coud probably afford less visits/90 day by mail meds) please, please contact me I am currently stuck in a cold, damp town with two Doctors, none of which are tking new paients it seems. Of course as usual social services
