4 Homeopathic Remedies for Arthritis

Apis is suitable for people with hot, burning, stinging pain and swelling.

Belladonna is best suited for people who experience a rapid and violent onset of throbbing arthritic pain and red, hot, and swollen joints.

Homeopathic remedies come in different potencies.  The typical dosage is to start with a 6X or 30X remedy, taking three or four pellets and allowing them to dissolve under the tongue every 15 minutes for the first hour or two.  After that, a typical dose is three pellets, three times daily.  If you don’t see any improvement, a different remedy choice may work better for you.

I believe homeopathy works best when it is taken with direction from an experienced homeopath.  A skilled practitioner will take a holistic approach, asking many questions about your symptoms and the conditions that improve or worsen them.  This helps the practitioner select homeopathic remedies that address physical, emotional, mental and even spiritual factors that may be affecting you.

Thank you so much for the article. I will try Belladonna since I suffer from the above described symptoms. I only take homeopathic medication which is natural. To eliminate throbbing arthritic pain I take hot baths with Sea and Epson salts and massage the painful area with Voltaren gel which helps a lot.

Honey is great and indeed you need to be very very careful and read the ingredients b/c I hear its full of artificial things whatever that is. Organic is good and also go to the bee keeper or from fresh food markets locally in your area b/c they sell their produce on the day.

Homeopathics work. They have been around for centuries and actually long before traditional medicine. Look it up and you will see. i fixed my GERD with homeopathics. A muscle relaxer by Shuesslers Tissue Salts works a treat for arthritis.

Hi Suzanne- I cannot take Ibuprophen (stomach) but there is a cream that works well called Votaren Gel- I believe it is an Nsaid cream. It is about $160-185/3 tubes tho and needs to be prescribed.Bill L. - I thin k I have seen yoiur comment before on sites about Arthritis- I have heard of bee stings/honey remedy for arthritis but I remember my husband watching a break thru report on tv when they discivered it would help with Multiplle Schlerosis which he has. unfortunately he is allergic to bee stings.Last time he was stung he was working about 20 stories up doing construction and almosgt fell over the side of an open building. whoah! blut my arthritiis is much better in the summer on its own. catch 22, always with the catch 22!
