These micro-plants are well known by scientists as nutritious and safe to eat. With over thirty years of international scientific research, and thousands of published peer-reviewed papers that document their safety and nutritional and therapeutic health benefits, micro-plants should be a part of everyone’s daily diet. Scientific research continues to investigate each one of these amazing foods, so new discoveries are always forthcoming.
For your present needs there are quality “green” powder drinks that are a combination of all the listed micro-plants, plus fruits, vegetables, sprouted grains and probiotics. Makers of the leading “green drinks” claim that one to two tablespoons of this concentrated powder in water or a smoothie drink will provide you with the equivalent of five to six servings of vegetables. Check the label for ingredients and nutritional breakdown.

+ add your owneating algae sounds really weird! but thanks for sharing!
Very interesting.... Where would I even find any of these things?!
Hmmm...maybe I'll give the spirulina or Chlorella a try. Has to be able to taste good in a Smoothie, though.
Thanks!
delicious tips..
@heather- actually, my 3 yr old son drinks green spirulina and algae smoothies and juices nearly every day! It really tastes quite good in juices, and most of these green super foods just give a nice earthy tone to the drink they are mixed into. yum..
thanks
I have tried all of these at one time or another and they did not hurt and may have helped. Mom swears by chlorella, I believe.
I am happy to eat like a ruminant and try the grasses. I know the rest of the powders are extremely healthy but I can't even imagine a thirsty cow putting it's soft lips into water that is coloured green with algae. Also, we don't know where these products come from and most of what I see around me is polluted - whether it's the land, the rivers and it all runs into the sea. I'm adventurous - but only to a point. In 15 years' time perhaps that's all we have to eat.....
thank you for the article......i will go to the store and check on the powder drink.
