6 of the World’s Most Unusual Schools

  • 5 of 7

4. River Plate School, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

So many students spend more time staring out the window than they do actually learning, and the students at this school are certainly no exception. That’s because the school is located in the stadium of one of the nation’s — if not the world’s — most influential football (American soccer) teams. That’s right, the students get to watch their favorite players practice when they should be paying attention to their algebra lesson! The school recently added university-level courses, and now educates about 2,000 students starting at the kindergarten level.

Thank you for a great article with good information. I loved all the schools, the kids are lucky to be given to chance to attend these.

I think the cave school is awesome because it involved a community coming together to educate their children who otherwise would have nothing. Sometimes the government doesn't think before shutting down something that is important to a community. It makes it better that it was in a cage, more uniqie, and the kids looked happy enough :)

John S. -- First of all, it's LGBT*, not LGTG. Second of all, yes, it IS diverse. If you'd bothered to do even five seconds of research, you'll see the school is NOT limited to only LGBT* individuals. Maybe if the school you went to had taught you about educating yourself before speaking on topics you know nothing about, you'd not be looking so silly right now.

Interesting

Totally useless, especially listing schools that have been closed for several years, or celebrating a school for diversity because it's only for LGTG students (not really diversity, is it).
