3. Weird Al Yankovich
He is reputed to have said this when asked why he became vegetarian, “Many years ago I found out something about hamburgers that really grossed me out. You may not know this, so I hope I don’t make you sick, but it turns out hamburgers are actually made out of dead cows. I am not making this up. Needless to say, as soon as I discovered that, I gave up meat entirely.” (Source: thisdishvegetarian)

Mr. Gregory has been a comic and outspoken civil rights activist for years. He also has spoken about vegetarian diets and animal rights.
6. Sarah Silverman
She became a vegetarian at about the age of nine, when she saw a turkey be killed right in front of her, “The farmer, Vic, told me to look at all the turkeys and pick one out. I saw a cute one with a silly walk and cried, ‘Him!’ Before my pointing finger had even dropped to my side, Vic had grabbed the turkey by the neck and slit the animal’s throat. Blood and feathers went flying. I had sentenced that turkey to death! Up until then, I didn’t know where meat came from – and I’ve been a vegetarian ever since.” (Source: opposingviews.com)
