Back in the heyday of whaling, sperm whale oil was a beauty secret for skin. But even if whaling were legal now, who would want to cause harm to those magnificent whales? Here is a beautiful plant-based natural material that studies show has the identical properties of sperm oil, all to help the skin become more elastic. It is similar to the skin’s natural oils so skin responds very well to its use, whether your complexion is dry or oily. With this one simple oil you can clean, moisturize and nourish your skin, as well as restore some of its youthful health:

The beauty secret is jojoba oil! The oil from the seeds of this shrub is actually a liquid wax that never goes rancid. Found in the southwestern part of the U.S., as well as Argentina, Australia, Chile, Egypt, Israel, Mexico and Peru, jojoba oil is a gem for your skin. It is non-greasy.

Buy 100 percent pure jojoba and use it on your skin in abundance (meaning all day long whenever you think of it, although a little goes a long way when you put it on your skin), and for any skin problem from burns to scars to simple moisturizing. It tends not to aggravate sensitive skin problems such as rosacea. Wipe off any excess with cotton balls; you’ll be surprised what a natural cleanser the oil is! It actually helps acne because it is antibacterial.

Found in health food stores, jojoba is easily available.

I have been using Jojoba oil on my skin for years. My skin always tended to be a bit on the greasy side but the Jojoba oil actually helps - it doesn't make it any greasier in fact it balances it out beautifully. My skin feels better and looks better. I also scar very easily and have noticed that some of my scars have almost completely faded away. I think it's a fantastic treatment and a completely natural one!

I tried jojoba oil for the first time yesterday. I used it to clean my face from makeup. I was uncertain whether I should wash my face with my usual facial wash after. What do you suggest

Jojoba oil is ok, but shea butter is where it is at. Shea butter is great on all skin types...jojoba oil can be too dense for some sensitive skin. Shea butter would be a better solution for ALL skin types, plus it is CHEAPER! Discover how shea butter can improve your skin's texture/appearance/overall comfort. 100% natural, plant based & it is NOT a synthetic wax...ALL NATURAL!
Just be aware that there are sellers out there who sell REFINED shea butter. This shea butter is not as beneficial & has additives and "cheap fillers" in them. Go to www.afroscentric.etsy.com & discover what my GRADE "A" PREMIUM UNREFINED SHEA BUTTER products can do for your skin. My shea butter has been laboratory tested & is PROVEN to have skin healing benefits, moisturizing and protective qualities.
I found little quality control in the Shea Butter industry.
I cannot stress enough how important it is to buy from someone who knows about the products they are selling.
Many people are only concerned with the bottom line and will sell anything if it makes them a profit. I believe the best customer is a well informed customer, that is why I stress the importance of asking questions. I want to provide my clients with the BEST quality of products, and that is why I choose to learn as much as possible regarding the products I sell. In order for me to bring the best to you...I must learn & continuously strive to stay up on the newest forms of natural skin care and the effects of the products I

Rhiannon Myst

Maybe this is just what I have been searching for. I will have to check to see if I have any, hard to find in smalltown usa., if it would heal a wound dr's have not been able to, and good for my skin Wow! Have to try . Think I will look now for jojoba oil.

Jojoba oil healed the chemical burns/scars on the backs of both my hands caused by a workplace sulphuric acid spill. My thin fragile skin bounced back within 6 months. Especially soothing were the cotton gloves worn over the oil at night. Enjoy!

I thought Mary Kay products contained parabens and other chemicals?

To those who want to rid yourself of moisture problems or fine lines and wrinkles try Time-Wise products by Mary Kay. NOT tested on animals and results in 6 to 8 weeks!! i think they are the best on the market and priced affordably, too!!

Jojoba oil is one of my favourites, I always use it as a base if I am adding essential oils as the jojoba stops essential oils from going rancid and your blend lasts for ages without going off. GWENDOLYN - add Lavender essential oil and Rose Quartz & Black Obsidian gem essences to your jojoba, this will help tremendously. The herb tincture Astragalus is wonderful for recuperation and support your liver with a Milk Thistle combo. (All should be available from your local health stores). www.GrassdancerEssences.com

I have oily skin and am worried about adding more oil because during the day I get shiny face with a tendency to break out, but I am turning 50 and want my lines around eyes and mouth to decrease......has anyone had any diverse reaction to this oil????
