One of the best pick-me-ups is watching an abandoned pup lick the faces of her kind rescuers. “Normal” people rescue pets in their neighborhoods all the time. This beautiful instance helps remind us about the neighborhood pets waiting to be scooped up and saved.

I hope Jill has found her forever home by now. I can't because I already have my limit of puppies. I could very easily be an animal hoarder but I impose restrictions on myself.

Everyone should adopt from shelters! Then we could put an end to the surplus pet population and end…
