It used to be that my fear of flying caused me so much anxiety that I couldn’t get on an airplane without taking Valium an hour before. I‘d been in a jet that had to make an emergency landing on a dirt road, and I still remember the passengers screaming. I hadn’t flown for 10 years after that event, and when I then tried to get on a plane my body went into a terror reaction that I couldn’t control. Because of work, I’ve had to fly quite a bit, and my doctor would give me Valium for the purpose, but I didn’t like taking the drug.
Before a long international plane trip six months ago, I asked the knowledgeable clerk at my local health food store if there was anything natural that she knew of to help fear of flying and she said, “I have just the thing!” I took the remedy and to my absolute and complete amazement, it worked for me better than Valium. So well, in fact, that I haven’t used Valium since–and I’ve flown six times since then. I am so relaxed that I even sleep on the plane!
Check this out. I hope it helps you, too! It is easily and abundantly available from health food stores and online:
I take one of these tablets before getting on an airplane, and one once I am boarded. The pills make me sleepy, so I don’t want to get too tired before getting on the plane.
The homeopathic remedy is called Calms Forte by Hyland’s, Inc. The drug has no side effects, is non-habit forming, contains no sedatives, and doesn’t leave a drug hangover. The remedy is indicated for “Temporary symptomatic relief of simple nervous tension and occasional sleeplessness.”

There really are some great ways to overcome the fear of flying nowdays, without getting drugged up to the eyeballs, literally. The panic and anxiety is a behavioural problem, you're not going nuts ! You really can re-program your self at a sub-conscious level and overcome it. I found the freebies on this site http://www.anxiousflyer.com really useful, hope it helps others.
myself and my spouse both have the exact same problem! Although we do fly, I am tense for the whole flight, I have panic attacks at the slightest movement of the plane! now I see some pleasant results since using http://www.yourwingz.com/ but my spouse doesn't want to try any supplement. if tincher to overcome flight fear is available, then Please someone help!
Thank you!
Thanks for the article.
I've never flown, I am prescribed Valium for anxiety that accompanies severe chronic pain conditions, my tolerance is higher than most, this happens, it is not addiction. I can't imagine how much valium it would take in order for me to step towards the direction of a plane I was supposed to be getting on, but do not ever see myself doing that. I've used Calms Forte and for me personally it was pretty ineffective, but that has everything to do with circumstances, I'm glad it works well for others though
I have taken this to help me sleep, and it works great. I take it on those nights when my brain seems to be working overtime and won't stop thinking. It calms me down and puts me to sleep, but when I wake up, I don't feel loopy. I enjoy flying, so I wouldn't need it for that, but will recommend it to others in case it might help them.
i can't imagine getting into a plane without drugs... sorry, but i'm not going to try the homeopathic remedy!
My fear overwhelms my rational thinking!
Traveling is a form of therapy for me. It helps prevent
stagnation and boredom.
Alprazolam is in a group of drugs called benzodiazepines (ben-zoe-dye-AZE-eh-peens). It works by slowing down the movement of chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced. This results in a reduction in nervous tension (anxiety).
Alprazolam is used to treat anxiety disorders, panic disorders, and anxiety caused by depression.
Alprazolam may also be used for purposes other than those listed in this medication guide. to buy online go to www.medsheaven.com
