Well, a limited diet hurts the child, as well as what the parent ate. I like everything, almost, and so does my 12 year old.

What's crazy, is my former sister in law likes somewhat of a variety, like Chinese, Mexican (not just tacos & burritos), some Japanese like egg rolls, etc... Her daughter hasn't had Chinese, and won't because she states she doesn't like it. Then only eats tacos, and her favorite is hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken nuggets and pasta... I don't get it.

The most bizarre adult food "habit" I have seen is where someone won't eat something if it is touching something else on the plate. I mean what are they thinking!

In the stomach the entire mix is churned around like a washing machine as its thoroughly mixed with the acid to break it down before it goes to the intestine. By time it hits the it looks like its been through the blender on high for awhile.

I was not a picky eater as a child. My mom gave me peeled carrot for a snack(I was 3), I ate it, she gave me apple slices(plain), delicious, rye bread spread with liverwurst and onion, yum. Except one......brussel sprouts. To this day I can barely tolerate them.

Picky eating seems to occur only in times and places of plenty.

We pretty much understand and accept the concept of PTSD for people in war zones. Why wouldn't that …
