Are You Being Called To Simplify Your Life?

I want to live so simply that…

It’s official. December is here… and this holiday season promises to be as wild as ever. As if the “end of time” predictions weren’t enough, the holiday shopping season backed up all over Thanksgiving. It was like watching my plumbing fail. The simplicity of food, family, and football was compromised. We had an option to shop instead. This was not even the anticipation of shopping, the intense strategizing for the Black Friday scramble that so many people have grown to love about Thanksgiving. No, this year a handful of retailers just opened the doors and let the shopping begin like that one day wasn’t always one day we just had to chill.

I’m not going to lie, I’m concerned. Throughout the five years I’ve owned this coaching business, I’ve never once had someone come to me and ask for support filling their home with more stuff, filling their days with more commitments, or finding 12 more hours in each year that they can shop, shop, shop.

People come here because they want to simplify. They want to live more simply.

So, how would you finish that sentence? I want to live so simply that… I posted it recently on the Wildflower Evolution page on Facebook and the responses touched my heart. It seems many of us have something growing within that we haven’t yet been able to make space for in our lives.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

Of course, if we keep doing what we’ve been doing, we are certain to get more of what we have now. We need a new way. I believe that starts with recognizing those whispers from within, by deciding that our desire for a different way of being is all of the reason we need to make a change. Yes, the old way means that lots of people and systems are counting on us to keep doing what we used to do. But just because we did it that way before doesn’t mean we’re trapped. This shift requires we take action. We have to make this different. It’s time to release, release, release.

Yes, that can be… challenging, but it matters. You matter. And given the magical, powerful, tender times we are living in, more and more people are saying no to this madness that our culture fuels. It’s time to make space in our lives for spiritual studies, to heal, to step into our roles as healer, teacher, catalyst, guide, etc. It is time to connect with others who are investing in the spirituality of awakening to the self, to follow our hearts, and to evolve into the people we were born to be.

There’s a class–a clutter-clearing class–that helps people simplify their lives. It’s not just a class, it’s my class… and I love it. I love teaching it and I love the way it changes my life when I participate (which I always do). Well, I’m ready for another round simplification and today, I’m starting a special pay-what-you-can Sick of Being Stuck program. I wanted to make sure you knew about it, especially the pay-what-you-can part. You can read more about the class by clicking here, and you can register through the orange link at the bottom of the page.

More than ever before, this round of this program is in the spirit of simplifying our lives to make space for the truth of these times. Whether or not you feel called to join us, I will be here at Care2, sharing what we learn and inviting you to answer this call to simplify. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to support you. Also, I would love to hear what supports are helping you do what needs to be done and what challenges are coming up for you along the way.

Together, we are stronger. What do you say? Let’s do this. It is time for our lives to bloom.

Sorry, that was meant to be, "breathe and release that which no longer serves you."

I've been living to simplify my life for darn near my whole life...Not sweating the small stuff and always asking "Is it a matter of life or death"? As well as how important is it really?

Live Simple so Others may Simply Live!

I want to live so simply that ...

my beliefs, good or bad, become so foundatinally solid that there is no confusion as to choices, right or wrong, and the subsequent consequences of those choices.

Further, if there remains existing confusion, to work on attitude adjustments IMMEDIATELY rather than put them on the back burner for another day ... never happens.

Therein begins the pile-up blocking a life of simplicity, in my personal opinion.
