Since a jolly guy in a red suit will soon land on your roof, today we should observe 'National Roof Over Your Head Day.' Feng Shui has many cures that involve using the roof of your house, such as shining a light over the top of it from behind if you're trying to sell it. But here's the roof tip I like best: Feng Shui says that having your home or office building wedged between two taller structures could energetically compromise the space inside. In order to alleviate any negativity, you should put a spotlight on the top of your roof and face it towards the heavens. Pointing a light skyward is believed to add energetic height and then allow for healthy circulation of Chi. And you thought rooftops were just Santa's landing pad.
