On 'National Puppy Day' I thought I'd share a few all-natural, nurturing ways to make a new puppy feel completely at home. If your new pup is feeling a little anxious, some chamomile tea could be just the thing to calm Fido's nerves. Simply brew a cup of chamomile tea and pour the cooled brew over their food. Honey can also be useful in stimulating the appetite for young pups that have left old litters behind. Just remember to feed them small meals and then remove the food after 15 minutes, even if they haven't finished. They will learn to eat more eventually as they slowly become better accustomed to their new home.
