On some calendars today is referred to as 'Death and Duty Day.' Canadians call today 'Remembrance Day' and in other parts of the world today is referred to as 'Armistice Day.' In the United States we honor 'Veterans Day,' a holiday remembering those who died bearing arms in the name of liberty and freedom. When President Woodrow Wilson first proclaimed this day to be a legal holiday in 1919, he said 'Veterans Day is a day dedicated to the cause of world peace.' Today, let us all contribute to those same unifying energies as we bring home the chi of what Feng Shui calls the 'peace' fruit, as the apple has a soothing and calming influence when displayed anywhere inside your living space. It might keep the doctor away but it gives peace a chance, too. Today, let's all do the same.
