Today is 'Drowsy Driver Awareness Day' and I'd like to wake drivers up to an essential oil that will keep them alert and aware while also potentially preventing accidents. In 1879 the British Medical Journal noted that peppermint essential oil is a strong mental and physical stimulant that can keep concentration high while also helping one to stay awake and attentive. Put a few drops on a cotton ball and place it in your car or just keep a small one handy and inhale whenever you feel your energy and your focus waning as you drive.
