The idea was to streamline your eating habits, but a strict macrobiotic diet proved to be too extreme for your tastes. You don't have to go overboard to eat healthier meals. A healthy balance of protein, carbs, fruit and veggies, and small meals eaten every three to four hours is a more sensible way to simplify your diet.
