The spring rains are here, and typically, you do your best to keep from wasting it. Capturing rainfall in a barrel is the best way to do that. Water use in homes increases by 40 to 50 percent over the summer, and one good rainfall fills that barrel, which can then be given any number of uses. It kind of gives new meaning to the phrase 'waste not, want not,' doesn't it?
