Rare Baby Panda Twins
This rare pair of panda twins Ai Hin & Mei Hin are still very young in these pictures. First you’ll see one with his mother Mei Mei, then the pair getting acquainted with each other and the world.
Like that? It gets better. Go to page 2 where you’ll see panda babies at the Panda Kindergarten at the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base outside Chengdu, China.
This pair was born in 2006 to Ei Mei and Mei Mei, which the Research Base leased to a zoo in western Japan’s Wakayama prefecture under a Sino-Japanese cooperation program on giant panda breeding. When they were a few years old they were sent to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding which is where the pandas on pages 2 and 3 live.

There’s a lot more pandas can do with a slide. See them on page 3
This world-famous ecological park and breeding research center is dedicated to protecting and conserving many native Chinese endangered species, like the Giant Panda and the Red Panda. Started in 1993, the Giant Panda Research Base offers visitors a unique glimpse into the lives of pandas who usually live in remote bamboo forests high in the mountains. With the continued destruction of their natural environment, the Panda Base was created to mimic the panda’s natural habitat and give researchers a place to breed and study them.

Baby Pandas on a Slide
These babies have a nice slide to play on, but, being pandas, they start at the bottom instead of the top and they fall all over themselves. More fun at the Panda Kindergarten.
