Baby Wombat Loses Mom, Gets Second Chance (Video)

This cutie was found in his mom’s pouch after she was found in the road, killed by passing traffic. The baby wombat was still a “pinky” — a hairless, little newborn that the carers describe as a tiny “pink marshmallow” (awwww). Now look at him! He is happy, healthy and playful. Let this adorable baby wombat video lift your spirits as you see an innocent little critter be saved so he can thrive, even without his mom.

That little Wombat is adorable. Absolutely beautiful. I hate what happened to his poor mother. I wish we lived in a world where things like that didn't happen to innocent creatures.
